What is your biggest success since you started working at Stanpro?

Having been in the lighting industry for 25 years  (6 at Stanpro) and being a part of the future of lighting from the manufacturing side has been a great experience.  I would say having grown into a position that allows me to have a voice in that future is my biggest success.

What is your specialty? Or, what is your ‘’thing’’ or your personal touch that you like to add to your work?

All our customers are important! I take their needs to heart and understand their urgency in their day to day business.  Understanding that our clients request is to meet their customers’ expectation in a timely manner is important to me.  This is why I try to service every client in the same manner I would like to be served.

What aspect of your work do you prefer?

Knowing and understanding that the right light is needed in every application! I enjoy working closely with our clients, product managers and engineers to help develop or modify an existing fixture to meet their expectations and requirements.  Creating something from scratch for a retail chain or simply ensuring that we have the correct color trims available for a ceiling fixture to be sold in showrooms for residential applications.

Which fixture is your favorite and why?

The TLL is not a common track head and is not often seen in the industry. It’s a linear luminaire that can be added to a standard track system. I like the fact that it’s a simple install and quick fix when you don’t have enough general lighting when using standard projectors to light a space. It also gives a unique modern look to the classic track lighting design.

What is your favorite quote?

A winner is a dreamer who never gives up. (Nelson Mandela)

What is your passion?

Right now, my passion are my 3 boys and helping them discover their own passions and encourage and support their dreams. I teach them to never give up and that you need to work toward what you want to achieve.
