Legrand’s “Pass & Seymour Harmony Tru-Universal Dimmer” comes with self-calibrating technology that automatically sets the minimum voltage of lamps, eliminating flickering lights, and, the company says, “frustrated customers and unnecessary callbacks.”
As the name implies, it’s set to work with “every lamp, every load and every fixture —guaranteed,” which has the added benefit of reducing the amount of SKUS in your stock, the company added.
Built for residential or light commercial wiring applications, it can instantly identify lamp type, including incandescent, CFL, halogen, and LED after it’s attached to the fixture. The self-calibration automatically sets the minimum voltage.
Energy consumption can be reduced up to 50% with the dimmer, and it installs just like a regular Pass & Seymour dimmer.
Design-wise, it has a larger, easy-to-use dimming slider and green LED makes it easy to find in the dark. There are three interchangeable faces: white, ivory and light almond.
As it’s universal, there’s also the added benefit of reducing the amount of SKUS in your stock, Legrand added.
